Yoga for overall well-being, stress relief and relaxation, classical Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga, Pre and Post Natal Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation

Yoga and living a balanced, grounded life are Tanya’s passions. Tanya discovered the joy and beauty of yoga while she was attending university and has been practicing yoga for over 12 years. Her first foray into the world of yoga was a Hatha yoga class, and over the years she has studied many different styles – including Ashtanga, Iyengar, Vinyasa Flow, Yin, and Restorative Yoga. Yoga has been her constant companion, guiding her through the joys and challenges of life, helping her to slow down and live a happier, healthier, more balanced life. She is truly grateful for the gift of yoga and finds much joy in sharing the benefits of yoga with others.

Tanya completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2011 at the Salt Spring Centre of Yoga and has been teaching classes since graduating from her YTT. Tanya’s classes combine awareness of the breath and postural alignment to cultivate a deeper connection to your inner self, increasing self-awareness through the union of breath, body, and mind.

Tanya is an outdoor enthusiast and animal lover. When she is not on her yoga mat or in the studio, she loves to ride her mountain bike and hike with her husband and their two adorable dogs. She loves to laugh and takes pleasure in finding joy in the simple things life offers. She is passionate about good food and spends a lot of her free time in her kitchen cooking and baking for loved ones. She savours the quality time she gets to spend with her family and friends.
