Updated Appointment Reminder Policy

The scheduling and billing software that we use, Mindbody Online, has made some recent upgrades in regards to automatic appointment reminders so we are updating our appointment reminder policy & will no longer be doing reminder phone calls.

Starting immediately, if you have provided us with your email address for automatic appointment reminders, you will receive an ‘Appointment Reminder/Confirmation’ email 2 days before your scheduled appointment. In this email you are requested to click the inserted link to confirm that you will be at your appointment – this is important for you to do so that we know you will arrive for your visit. During this transition period we will also be continuing our reminder calls.

Starting June 1st, 2015 we will no longer be giving you a reminder phone call because we are now able to do this through a text message to a mobile phone. If you have provided us with your mobile number and if you have not clicked the link in the appointment reminder email to confirm that you will be at your appointment as mentioned above, you will receive a text message 1 day prior to your scheduled appointment requesting that you reply to confirm that you will be at your appointment. This again is important so that we know you will arrive for your appointment. (If you do not have a texting plan with your service provider, message and data rates may apply. You can unsubscribe to the text message by replying “STOP”.)

Our Appointment Cancellation/Missed Appointments Policy has not changed, so please be sure to attend each visit booked so that no missed (or late cancelled) appointment fees apply.

Want an even easier way to remember your appointments? Well Mindbody has also recently released a great new free App for mobile devices called Mindbody Connect that lets you view all your upcoming (& past) visits with us as well as allowing you to sync it with your mobile’s calendar. Other features of this free App include the ability to book appointments & purchase gift certificates with us (& other local businesses who use the same software), all from your mobile device!!
