deidra corbeil RMT

Therapeutic & Preventative Care, Relaxation & Well-being, Energy Rebalancing

Deidra Corbeil is a Registered Massage Therapist and 2011 graduate of the 3000-hour program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria, BC. Prior to that, Deidra had already established a relationship with bodywork and had been practicing as a Shiatsu Therapist and studying energy re-balancing and Reiki while working in various spas and wellness centres in Vancouver and Nelson.

Deidra initially fell in love with bodywork after receiving her first shiatsu treatment. She left the session feeling so renewed and revitalized that she was drawn to learning how to share that gift and experience with others. Shortly after she started her shiatsu training which eventually led to her undertaking the RMT program to further her understanding of the human body and how to more effectively treat it.

Deidra’s touch can be described as caring and thoughtful. During a treatment, she combines her calming presence with a focused touch to help relieve her clients of pain, tension and general stress. She draws upon various techniques to most effectively meet their individualized needs.

Deidra is a firm believer in preventative care and works with clients to increase their self-awareness of how their physical body is impacted by their mental, emotional and spiritual health. Lasting change can only be achieved when the ‘whole’ person is actively involved.

In her spare time Deidra can be found exploring the Island; spending time by the ocean hiking in the forest. She also loves sharing quality time with friends and family.
