Hatha – All levels
These classes use gentle sequencing of yoga poses to link breath and body movement, focusing on the basic fundamentals of alignment and breath in yoga asana practice. All levels are welcome. Students who are new to yoga will find a supportive and nurturing environment where they can discover and experience the joys of yoga, while more experienced students can deepen their practice by revisiting the foundations of alignment and breath. These classes will build strength, increase flexibility, reduce stress, enhance your overall sense of well being, and deepen your mind-body connection. You will leave feeling relaxed and renewed.
These classes incorporate more body movement and more challenging postures than the Hatha – All Levels classes. Students are encouraged to mindfully connect with their bodies and breath as the entire body is strengthened, stretched, toned and relaxed. Classes focus on alignment, mind-body-breath awareness, and the joy of being in the present moment as you flow through Sun Salutations and held postures. You will feel refreshed, relaxed, and full of life as you cultivate a compassionate, nurturing connection with your self.
Motherhood is the epitome of selfless service or Karma Yoga. These gentle yoga classes are a wonderful way to nurture you and your baby. Breath and gentle movements are used to build strength, open the body, and create space for your growing little one. Postures include variations for all stages of pregnancy. Take time to honour yourself and connect with your baby as you relax, rejuvenate, and relieve the discomforts of pregnancy.
Missed and Make-up Classes
We understand that from time to time things come up, life happens, and you may have to miss a class during a 6 or 8 week session. We do offer make-up classes between scheduled sessions for those who have missed a class. If you have missed a class during a session, you may come to the make-up class free of charge. Students are only eligible for one make-up class per session.
